Data controller
The data controller is Mauro Sala, founder of the ICE system. For any request about your data, write to info@icesystem.it.
Contact form
When you write through the form we collect what you enter: name, email, phone, topic, profile, city and message. Phone, profile, city and message are optional. They are used only to reply to you and to arrange any course or lesson you ask about; the legal basis is your own request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
The message is forwarded by email through Resend, a delivery service based in the United States, and kept in the controller’s mailbox for as long as the request needs and no longer than 24 months after the last contact. The data is never sold or passed to third parties for other purposes.
Visit statistics (Google Analytics)
Only if you accept it from the banner, the site uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure visits in aggregate: pages viewed, referrer, device type, duration. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies, lasting up to 2 years. Google may also process the data in the United States, under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework to which Google is certified.
Technical data and browser storage
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and operation (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Fonts are served by the site itself, with no external service involved.
In your browser’s storage (localStorage) the site keeps only two technical preferences, which need no consent: the chosen theme (ice.theme) and your cookie choice (ice.consent). They never leave your device.
The WhatsApp button is a plain link: nothing reaches WhatsApp until you use it. If you write on WhatsApp, the conversation is also governed by WhatsApp’s (Meta’s) own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or erase your data, restrict or object to its processing, or receive it in a portable format (Arts. 15–22 GDPR), by writing to info@icesystem.it. If you believe the processing breaks the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
